I am sure you are accustomed to hearing people rave about the FOOD, so I will go directly to my own area of appreciation -- your efficiency and economy of movement! It was a pleasure to watch you work. Even in a kitchen you had never been in before, you wasted NOTHING in the way of carrying out cooking steps. Very pleasing to the 'engineering eye'.
Your tales were also interesting -- it is always worth hearing about how matters function in someone else's profession -- and the stories about the cooking life on a cruise ship were PRICELESS!

Hi Martin,
I just wanted to send you a quick note to say thank you for making my birthday a complete success. I had a blast preparing the ingredients with you and learned an awful lot in the process. I have a whole new respect for the talent that goes into the presentation of a fine meal.
Everything turned out great. All the guest absolutely loved each and every dish. Nothing was ruined or overcooked and nobody even got sick...ha ha
I still need to perfect my presentation skills but I'm sure that will come with time and a little experience. Of course having your expertise again wouldn't hurt either.
Thanks again for a terrific day and teaching me so much in such a short period.
